Our Co-operative Values

Our ethical values

We need a leadership to further drive up standards and grasp the opportunities that come from working in a diverse and vibrant community. Passionate about educational excellence, you will have a strong track record of secondary leadership in a challenging, urban context. You’ll help our teachers to enable our students to learn more and to develop a lifelong love of learning.

A visible leader, you will live out the Trust’s core values of Together we will Care, Share, Respect and Succeed and embed them throughout the academy.

While looking outwards, you will build strong relationships with local schools, champion the needs of the community and make sure everyone knows about our achievements. You will be keen to utilise the expertise and learning opportunities available within the trust and The Co-operative Group for the benefit of students at the academy.

In short, we require a leader with resilience, a commitment to inclusion and driving out inequality, energy and determination. The rewards in this job are enormous and the governors, trust and the entire academy community will want to work with the successful candidate to make it an even better place to learn.

“Achievement is rising for all groups of students, gaps in achievement are narrowing and the quality of teaching is improving.”
